Launch night

South Berkshire Scouts launch new Bracknell Explorer Unit.

Who Are We?

Explorer Scouts are boys and girls aged 14 to 18 years.

When Do We Meet?

Every Monday evening between 7.45pm and 9.30pm at 9th Bracknell Headquarters, Leppington,  Birch Hill, Bracknell. RG12 7WW   Map

Occasionally, we will meet up with other units locally and attend outside activities together.

What Do Explorer Scouts Get Involved In?

There is a wide range of activities that you can be involved in such as Camping, Hiking, Climbing, Conservation Projects, Community Support and International Issues as well as work towards various awards such as the Scouts Award or Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

How Do You Get Involved?

Whether you are in scouting already or completely new to it.  Just click on the contact tab and fill in the online form.  Your details will be forwarded to our Bracknell Explorer Leaders and you will be contacted shortly.

Sometimes due to a heavy homework/study nights or work times it is not always convenient for Explorers to attend his/her usual unit night, therefore we offer the flexibility of you attending other Explorer Units locally. 

The Crowthorne Explorer Unit runs on a Tuesday evenings

The Sandhurst Explorer Unit runs on a Thursday evenings 7.45 – 9.30pm
