Harrier Scouts Braggers Wood Camp

Easter camp this year was held at Braggers Wood in the New Forest For five nights.

The camp went very well with only the minor problems to start but once the Scouts got the hang of things all went very well indeed.

We had a good bunch of Scouts who overall worked well as a team.

We went out for the day to the Submarine Museum at Gosport and was taken on a tour of HMS Alliance by a very good tour guide who we have sent a letter of thanks to.

We then took the Scouts to the Royal naval base across the water at Portsmouth.

We took them on the harbour tour to see HMS Victory and the Action Stations activity centre.

One of the days we rook them to Mudiford were the Scouts tried to catch crabs one team caught four the other none.

The scout enjoyed there Easter camp and next years will be at Broadstone Warren campsite in the Ashdown Forest

Before this we have the Giant Sleepover and the Glastonbury carnival 2007 plus we will be planning one more weekend camp at our local site Earleywood.
