The 9th Bracknell Scout Group consists of two Beaver Scout Colonies, two Cub Scout Packs and one Scout Troop, all meeting in our purpose built Head Quarters at Birch Hill in Bracknell.

We have around 30 adult helpers, leaders and committee members giving up their time as volunteers to make our members Scouting experience a memorable one. All adults involved with the 9th Bracknell Scout Group are CRB checked, almost all have attended a child protection workshop, will be completing a NSPCC course and have some first aid training.

We ask that all of our parents help the Section or Group in whatever way that they can, whether it's at fundraising events or helping in some way at their son's section.

We can only provide good scouting for your son with your active interest and encouragement. The 9th Bracknell (South Hill) Scout Group is part of the South Berkshire District Scouts.

Tsunami Appeal

Following the Tsunami at the end of 2004 we held two fund raising events to raise money to buy some Aqua Boxes ( more info on Aqua Boxes can be found HERE ), we raised enough to buy and with donations from our families fill TEN boxes which went into storage for any other disasters that may happen in the future.

Unfortunately it wasn't that long before the Pakistan Earthquake happened and we are told that our boxes have been sent to Pakistan to help there.
