Glastonbury 2008

The Scouts from the 9th Bracknell have been going to the Glastonbury Carnival every year for at least 20 years, in that time we have tried different ways of stayed at different places during the carnival weekend or traveled down and back on the day.

For the last two years we have found new hosts at the 4th Glastonbury Scout Group where we can arrive on the Friday evening and leave on the Sunday, this has worked very well as we are just round the corner from the procession which saves a lot of messing about.

Thank you to everyone at 4th Glastonbury for making us welcome during a very busy time for you all.

A Busy Summer

The Troop have been busy this summer with a trip to London, Thorpe Park and to a TV Studio to be part of the audience, they have also just had a weekend camp at Youlbury in Oxford.
